I know this sounds like it should be love song.
Would you believe me if I said it is?
Except this time my heart is breaking under a weight not all my own doing, but from a love lost and broken by the collective.
But how could we know how to hold a gift like this you know it was doomed right from the start with all the rules, hidden from view, and here we are, stumbling around in the dark.

For a fleeting second the sunlight streams down on me and I can tell myself that this world knows no pain.
But then I open my eyes and see the lies more clearly than I’ve ever seen anything in my life - how we sleep, follow like sheep, somewhere between our desires and our empty dreams – and we think they’re real and by that we think we feel but we don’t see, we don’t hear, we don’t feel , we don’t really love because on and on we sleep…dancers in a dream
never realizing things are hardly as they seem.
